The very first step in your strategy should be to agree the intended outcome of your marketing campaign.

If you can’t agree the objective and get on the same page at this point you’ll not be able to down the line and you’ll have missed out on the clarity you could have had right throughout the process.

Without an agreed outcome in place, disagreements, misunderstandings and general wastage all run the risk of becoming too common.

Without outcomes you will find it harder to be selective about who you target with which message and how far you need your budget to go.

Agreeing the outcome before you move onto anything more technical or tactical gets everyone onto the same page and all the wheels turning in the right direction.
