Place and mindset play a hugely important role around whether a customer is ready to make the purchase right then or at a later date will recall the product and buy it then when they see it again

Examples of companies getting this right are everywhere,

Think about the company offering taster samples in grocery stores:

  • The customer is in a mindset where they are ready to buy food products,
  • Tasting something nice might provide them the opportunity the escape from the monotony of shopping,
  • They are in a physical location where they can buy the product right at that point in time.

You might not be able to offer your product as a physical sample in a grocery store but there are always ways of marketing that catches your customers in the right mindset and physical location – in order to boost your sales!
