Stop using so many adjectives in your marketing

If you look at a sentence that describes something with an adjective “it was very hot outside”

It’s much more vague than one that uses specific data “it was 102 degrees outside”

The first is much more vague than the second. When you are vague in your marketing messaging it can impact how your customer thinks about you in a number of ways

You look like you are hiding something, that you don’t know what you are talking about or potentially that your product or service doesn’t really solve their problem

So with your messaging get as specific as possible around how you help your target customers overcome their problem and use data to back this up where possible

Two caveats don’t use too much data, make sure it’s simple enough to understand at a quick glance or scan and that it isn’t a misleading which would erode trust in your brand
